Sales associates come up to me at each store and are like, "ughh... You finding everything you need there... sir?" While I'm digging through the hot wheels section. Fuck it, when I find the e30 m3 I am going to buy every one they have in stock.

i heard they were not released in the U.S but in Canada and Brazil or something? Not sure.

Nah, I believe that is only the white racing e30 m3.

Can anyone explain why the package reads 1992 M3? The M3 was just about the only E30 not produced that late.

I noticed that too. Probably because hot wheels aren't always so accurate! Look at the bottom of the 2002, there's a lot of funny little descrepancies to how they really are, but that's serious nitpicking.

Ditto - they had a TON of blue 2002's. There is a peg an a half full of them right in the middle of the rack now!

Managed to find a white m coupe, a blue 2002 and a white 2002, two black m coupes an a white e90 m3 GTR tho.

oooh, nice! I need the E92 M3 GTR! It's cool how they are doing lots of the BMW Motorsport cars! There has to be a BMW nut designing at hotwheels right now.

Do the detailing after the clear coat ;). I use a toothpick for the details.

Checked Target (who thankfully about doubled the size of their section), Wal-Mart, Fred Meyer, and 2 Rite-Aids, still nothing yet. But I'm not worried, because when the 2002's came out, we didn't get them here for a while.

Same over here - I hit up Freddies as well and no joy but it did have a huge selection - going to have to check again soon.

Freddies never restocks, dont even bother, ive been there 3 weeks in a row and no change in models.
