Good friend killed him self

I know your pain man. My first semester in college, my roommate and long time friend took his own life. I'll never forget walking into his room and seeing him hanging there. More importantly, I'll never forget the good times we shared. The smile he had, the jokes he would crack that weren't funny but made you laugh. It's hard losing someone like this but you have to go on remembering the good times.

Thanks for all the kind words guys. They help out. Some times I feel weird writing stuff like this on R3V seeing as its a car forum and I don't even know most of you personally, but just having a place to let things go helps out some times. There are few unfriendly people on R3V but the vast majority of you guys are real good people.
We are going to have a good by party for our friend in the next few days to send him off.
Things like this put a while new spin on life and how I live it.

I'm sorry to hear that. Depression is ugly. I used to laugh at the commercials but after my divorce I can understand it. Suffered for a bit but I got bit of help from family and friends.

Very true words, actually brought a tear to my eye. In the past 2 years I've lost 3 high school friends, starting with my best friend. I had cut communication with him a few years before I got the call. 2 drug overdoses and 1 suicide. The suicide left the deepest impression.

Too much death lately.

My deepest condolences, friend. I can't even imagine how hard something like that is to go through, I haven't even had a close family member pass away, let alone a good friend take their life. As others have said, though, the best thing to do is to keep your head up. However hard that may be.
