I doubt the cordless can have that much power and it will never last as long. Plus why would you take that to a junkyard? BFH FTW!Comment

If I'm reading the specs right, the cordless isnt rated at the same RPM, which indirectly suggests it wil have less power and subsequently less torque.
Cordless for small, weak jobs, corded will be for the heavier drills and cuts
corded will ALWAYS have more torque, even though its lithium ion, the battery will only put out the same average voltages any cordless toll will, they just charge faster, are lighter, and will hold a long charge...
the amount of voltage is what you need to focus on.

So the difference between 2k-5k rpm is that much more power? Sorry im a rotary newbIf I'm reading the specs right, the cordless isnt rated at the same RPM, which indirectly suggests it wil have less power and subsequently less torque.

I almost wasted my money on a Dremel, I ended up buying a Ingersoll-Rand 308A 1/4 die grinder. Already did two port and polishes, cut up the towers to fit my e28 GC race camber plates and countless other things.
25k RPM, 1/4 and eats through everything without slowing down. I never use the fill speed, mostly at 9-12k unless I am using my disk cutter wheel attachment or sand drum. This is one of my top 5 favorite tools. And I would never ever buy a cordless version to perform these tasks.~ Puch Cafe. ~ Do business? feedback ~ Check out my leather company ~
