Here's a slight update:

I've been away for the last 3 months in school, and the car's been sitting outside.
Came back and realized that the passenger side front/rear carpeting was soaking wet.
To my dismay, realized that due to a really torn sunroof gasket, water had been spraying into the interior for a while now.

There is a little bit of mold gathering on the front, while none in the back.
Going to use a bunch of chemicals and try to clean it up really well.

A friend and I did some water-testing, opened up interior pillar covers, and tested the sunroof drains. All drains were flowing perfectly, leading us back to the seal, which has several large tears on the passenger side of the vehicle.

The temporary fix will be found in the form of duct-tape, while a new sunroof seal is on order. This all knocked around plans of getting the car sent to paint at Oliver's in San Jose (oliver.r) which I was really looking forward to. But unfortunately, it will have to be postponed to the Spring or Summertime where this new problem can be sorted out, then Oliver can work his magic on bringing the car's exterior back to 1983. :D

It's been quite a while since i updated this thread. ive been at school mostly since then, but i have been slowly collecting parts for it.

Currently looking at getting everything i need for the sunroof repair (leaks, and does not operate correctly)

also, last time i was home, my pops and i did the clutch master/slave cylinder since the pedal was going straight to the floor and not engaging. works now.

the car had been leaking a TON of oil for the last year or so, after it started sitting and not being operated for the most part. this was fixed by removing and clearing the pvc screen on the front of the block. we also dug into the pillars for the sunroof drains, and cleared everything up. gonna tear the headliner off sometime soon before removing the sunroof and such.

i am shooting to have the car at oliver's paint shop (oliver.r on here) by mid-june, right when i get out of school, and drive back up to the sf bay area for the summer.
