It's been a little while since I updated this thread, so I figured I'd drop an update. I've been back at my parents' house for a few weeks now, but just recently got cracking with the Peugeot. About a week and a half ago, I drove down to Santa Cruz (popular surf/beach spot on the Northern CA coast) and picked up a sunroof cable and seal from a guy on the Peugeot 505 fb group. Great guy, and hooked me up with a great deal.

It was a nice excuse to drive the Peugeot, particularly on CA Hwy 17, which has a great set of winding curves with elevation change. Car performed fantastically, no hiccups at all. The XN6 was oddly pulling really well on the inclines, I was very surprised.

Anyway, came home, started cleaning up the car, and gathering up the parts that I will be using when it comes back from paint. Yesterday saw a lot of good work. Got most of the heavy/bigger stuff off the car, and today, I have several college and high school buddies coming over to lend a hand. We'll be continuing the dis-assembly today, getting various trim off, the rear spoiler, and power washing the under-body in preparation for undercoating. Hope to have it in Oliver (member here)'s shop in the coming week(s).

Hopefully at some point this week, my dad and I can remove the headliner and get to the sunroof. The car will be getting painted with the sunroof off, since the cassette has some surface rust, and it needs a new seal. I'm also going to try and tackle the bumpers, side molding, bumper extension, windshield cowl, and grille this week with paint.

Hope I don't get carried away with the power washer today.

The Pug 505 is still up for grabs. Full service history, 458,000 miles. XN6 pushrod 2 litre engine, 5 speed manual transmission. Almost everything works. Runs and drives but you must...
BRING your own wheels and tires. Or a set of 5 wheels (with or without tires) for me and you can have the wheels and tires that are on it. (Ask first)
$150 or I will trade for a full dark gray or Black interior (Carpet, Front seats, consoles, door panels, kick plates ect ect even the headliner (optional) that is in good condition (At least cleanable and not ripped up) out of a 1985 to 1993 Loyale wagon or Leone 3 DL or GL wagon (same thing). No dash is needed but a instrument cluster with a working Tach or in Digital would be nice.
The Pug has a clear new Mexico title and is Registered until the middle of July. Sold as is no warranty and no smog. Sold as parts or a fixer upper (IE LEMONS!).
You do not even need a trailer, you can drive it home. (I just did a round about from CA to CO to TX to CA at the end of last year) Comes with a spare rear wheel bearing. (All of the others have been changed) and a valve cover gasket, It leaks a tiny bit. Post here or send me a note. Looking for it to be gone ASAP. Just put my user name @gmail.com for email.
