Not really a purchase, but we signed the lease a few days ago and got the keys about 10 minutes ago.

3br, not very big but it has a yard and is $300 less than what we were paying for a 1br apartment. Further from work but I should only spend $200 on gas a month.

I just put down on a lease also. 3 bedroom with a decent sized backyard for about $800/month. Better than living with 3 college kids, a slumlord, and having to deal with them for $450 a room! BTW, just kicked my ex-landlord's ass in court for false allegations of rent owed and rental tax fraud. He's gonna have a mess on his hands when the county inspector knocks on his door.
