A 1984 Hartge H5S! So close to being an M5, kinda, sorta, nah, not really.

It's got plenty of flaws, but is a nice driver.

            More pictures if interested.

holy shit those are awesome snags!

                Mine is:

And two pictures blown up for posters of my grandmother and grandfather.

She, Danuta, was a Polish Army nurse during WWII and this picture was taken right before the capitulation of the polish insurgents in Warsaw Poland against German SS troops. Those were the days with no hope and yet she lived proudly till recently.

This is my grandfather, Witold, after the insurgents in the same uprising re captured the police station in Warsaw. He kicked down the doors of the station only to find 12 SS men in the front lobby. All he had was an out of bullets german machine gun, a very powerful demeanor (6'7") and a lick of German. Told them to drop their weapons or die. Captured all of them and got a two man machine gun from it. He could weld it with one arm.

That is one badass story! My grandparents were both in WW2 as well. Im hoping to be able to have my grandfathers service metals and purple heart mounted with some photos of him from his time serving.

Makes me feel like my/our generation is worthless when you listen to their stories and what they had to endure.

Car might have been ordered that way, not everyone wanted flash. Some just wanted a nice conservative fast car.

That's the thing. They HAD to endure it. If we got stuck in a corner like that... as in fight or die with your entire country... I think you would rise up for the challenge.
