Thanks guys. I got pretty lucky with that one.

But this... I have been working on buying this car since August of last year. It will officially be mine by the end of the week now that we've got the title sorted out. Just a little teaser for now.

Truck looks good man. You can guarantee that with me it will get tinkered with. Now I got cars and truck to tinker with I'm gonna be broke forever lmao. My grandpa put 3 grand into the front end about a year ago so its probably got maybe 2000 miles on the new front end give the rate in which is was driven. I will be looking into the trans kits it will likely need it soon just cause this thing has 73k but only 10k-15k are probably non hauling miles the rest of them it had a 5th wheel hooked to it. Kinda sucks the 7.3 is a bullet proof engine but the trans is not so bullet proof haha.
Just to reiterate, I don't think the problem is the trans generally. I think it's shavings from the torque converter plugging up the poorly designed cooler. I have well over 330k on my trans and still going strong. Plenty of hard use, hot temps and pulling my 20ft flatbed with tractor and backhoe attachment. Those other parts.......not so much.....

I think when the failure happens, people generally replace/rebuild the trans while they are in there.

Ah okay that makes sense especially if the trucks are owned by truck/car people we have that might as well attitude haha

Yes, the body kit, S52, trans and wheels are obvious. The steering wheel, shift knob, and cluster are not. Clearly the spoiler is ti spec.

Additionally it has a Z3 torsen, Bilsteins/H&Rs, some upgraded bushings/mounts, slightly larger vented brakes (99 ti models came with vented brakes) with sporty pads, a multifunction display that I cannot recall the name of, and a short shifter.

More importantly, near new Pilot Supersports, and nothing except the clock is inop. The car also came with totally beat paint, which the pictures mostly neglect to show.

It's a lot of fun, especially considering that I have had only 4cyls since selling the E34 540i, and it's still running a stock tune, so there's at least one little change to do.
