I was applying some POR-15 to the underside of my car, trying to be careful because I was forced to lay underneath it on m back; of course I didn't want it to drip on my face and in my eye. Well guess what happened? Like a moron, I wasn't careful enough and a small drop landed right on my eyelid. Fortunately it didn't touch my eyeball but it freaked me out to imagine what would have happened if it did. I always wear goggles or safety glasses now...

Was swapping fenders on my old eta last year (ourside, in the winter, with no gloves )and I had leaned down to look at something in the wheel well but had both my hands on the top edge of the fender. Wonderfully timed gust of wind and the hood crashed down on both hands smashing a straight line across all 4 knuckles on each hand. Not the most pleasant feeling when the cold was replaced with burning pain. Luckily it went away less than an hour later

E30- Vert trunk lids are heavy!!!!. slammed fingers in the gap when replacing the lift shock. OUCH many profanities were uttered.

Other car, 77 elcamino. installing headers on SBC. engine mounts loose, front crank snout on jack, me under car/engine putting the headers in from the bottom. had bright idea to see how free the crankshaft was (forgetting that it was supported off the mounts). oil pan nearly crushes head. lesson learned DONT BE A RETARD.

Non-car. Kickback on a tablesaw. caught a piece of wood (3/8 plywood destined to become part of a cabinet drawer) between the fence and blade. made highspeed exit back to me, hitting me in left testicle. MANY PROFANITIES WERE INVENTED THAT DAY. Boss thought i cut a hand off or some shit, laughed like hell when I told him it just kicked me in the nuts. rest of day off, swollen ball for about 3 days....
I saved 15% on my Bimmer parts by switching to ...

              Kind-of :(

Doc sewed it back together a little crooked. Can move it a tiny bit in the cast and it's not pulling straight, needs an alignment haha.

Sucks too, had a busy week ahead. S52 in e30 318 (the motor that almost stole my thumb), e30m3 Alpha-N conversion, e36 318 m50 swap, gauge cluster in MK5 VW, Vanos rebuild in 328i, pick up the forged s50 from machine shop balancing for assy, new interior in my personal e30, plus all the regular small stuff. Guess it's time to hire help :(

I was changing a silicone intake elbow I purchase from Bimmerworld, I was anxious to change it so I had at it at 10pm with little light. I connected the Kamotors cold air intake to the AFM, tightened all clamps and went to install the elbow on the AFM............
As I was putting pressure on the silicone hose to fit...it slipped...BANG!!!! Right into my left corner of my eye!!!! If you are familiar with the Kamotors cold intake, you would know that it has a nice plastic edge. Fell to ground in pain putting my head on my forearm, as I went to get up I notice that my arm is full of Blood!! My wife comes running and asks if I'm ok, sees the blood pouring from my face and whatever was on my arm and starts yelling for help!! LOL. Mind you , Its late at night and the last thing i need is a ride to the ER.
I ended up putting pressure on it and luckily I had some butterfly stitches left over from a previous incident, so I closed the gash on my face on my own. I wound up looking like I was in the ring with Mayweather!!!

Working with some rusted bolts on my wheels, I was using a long torque wrench and the position I was in was kinda a lunge sorta-thing. So when it finally broke loose I punched the ground really f***ing hard and kneed myself in the face, not as bad as the s50 story but needless to say I felt really really stupid afterwards :(

Fortunate to have a lift, but the head and the legs of it have met many times lol.

Being short, people who come under it while I'm working are even less-fortunate :(

Nice hit all meat! That's pretty lucky. I had a gerber knife malfunction and folded onto/halfway through my pinkie. Now I have to deal with scar tissue in the joint. Gets weird sometimes.

^ I did that EXACT same injury a few months ago at work, dropped some steel and tried to catch it.

On topic, my I lip came loose so I lay down and hooked it back up, on the way up I caught my cheek on the numberplate -.-

On thursday I was replacing a cracked sealed beam, which was only held together by the headlight ring around it. So I took the ring off and handful of glass fell off. When I got the rest unplugged, it slipped from my hand and the very sharp broken edge hit my arm before shattering on the ground. That bled a decent amount.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30
