If you can handle the gt2 I'd go with that. If not that car is out to kill you & the ferraris r probably more user friendly. Id be to freaked out to drive high dollar cars like I stole em, but I would! Lucky basterd

I'd go with the R8 or the Porsche.

We are going back to Vegas next year and I'm already saving money for this:

The supercar driving experience in Las Vegas. Drive exotic cars like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, McLaren and others. Book Now!

I'm hoping to get enough saved to drive the F458 Italia and the Aventador.

I know how to read a track, and have learned how to enter/exit apex corners etc.

          I'm so-so.

but in a sub 200hp torquless FWD car.
If you have not developed the reactions necessary for a serious car I would go with something easier to drive, like the R8. And it's obvious, but don't forget to slowly work your way up; don't push your comfort zone too fast. The instructor will probably guide your progress pretty well.

I would drive each of them at least once.
And why are the ferraris verts? WTF

Afaik the company rents out these cars to various race tracks. Yet the track I'll be participating at does not allow verts unless you have a full roll cage. So I don't think the vert will be an option.
Also the reason I don't track my e30 vert. It's race ready except for the cage, oh well.

Oh absolutely. If anything, knowing myself I'd waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswafflesfoot my way around the track. I'm 33 and couldnt imagine mangling one of these machines. I'm not a hot head, I got nothing to prove.
I think I'm looking forward to just hearing the engines more than anything else.

Pics will be taken. Many of them.
I have a pro instructor by my side.
At the end of my laps, he takes the wheel and I hop in the passenger seat.,, he's the one who's gonna tromp and push the car like it was made to drive.

                    Can't wait:-D

                      I'd take the GT2, but then again I have a deathwish :D

I'm also not the biggest fan of domestic cars, audi's, and any car without a roof.

Super jealous, I hope someday I get a wife who understands my passion for cars that well!! what track are you going to?

I think Porsche is the best car, but the Ferrari 360 or R8 may be the funnest. I haven't driven the R8 so that would be my personal choice.

That's very nice of her. You should ask if they would allow her ride along with you.

I'd personally take the Ferrari 360, my all time favorite car.

The GT2 would be my very close 2nd choice, but I might be scared to spin it out like a noob the first time I really got on it.
Just keep on the go juice a bit through the corner and you shouldn't have that problem right?
My friend had a swapped MK1 MR2 and he learned the hard way that you dont take your foot off the gas through a corner with a mid engine car. Almost put us off a cliff. No fun.
Have fun at the track day! Wish I could do something like that.
