Now, that said, there is an improper driving charge, but only the judge can issue that, down from a reckless charge. He said he doesn't know why, but that's the way it is. Something to do with insurance and if property is damaged and the driver of the car doesn't own up.

Pretty much if you say you were going 30 mph and ended up 100 yards into a field, the judge is going to nail you with reckless, but 30mph and you're on the side of the road, then it's most likely going to drop to improper driving.

There. Straight from the horses mouth, so to say.

That said, I would still lawyer up. $$ spent is worth not having a criminal record because for some reason the judge is on his period that week.

Truth, have a meeting with your boy Frankie at 5.

I don't understand why they cant have cops write out improper driving tickets.

That's what he said. Really makes no sense, but there is code for it. Honestly, I think you'll be fine, especially with your record, but still....there is that chance.

Tell Frankie I said,"Hi!" He'll know what you mean. ;) He hasn't heard from me in a good while, lol.

          Shut the fuck up.

My tires have about 4k miles on them, and I know how to drive.

I can vouch for him. I put the tires on this car and he's a helluva auto-x'er.

                  Because it needs a clutch.

Evo clutches last all of 60k miles.

You guys are way to uptight. The internet is serious business.

Then get some RTABs and learn to drive...

So if you go off the road in Virginia for whatever reason, you get a criminal charge? That's just silly.

Excuse my disbelief and serious business, but 25mph is not a speed that would cause you to hydroplane. Not in a 3000+lb car.

Fight it. Seems the officer is judging by the looks of the car. For that he came to conclusion that you were messing around and caused the accident which i'm sure you werent.....

I think we've all assumed he was lying about that. He also stated he lifted a wheel...? He was showing up for the Real Doll in his passenger seat I guess...
