I could be wrong but Im assuming my bumper is fiberglass and judging from the cracked paint on the top of the bumper then the fiberglass may also be cracked.

I havent had time to go to a body shop and get it properly examined. So I am preparing myself for the worst in case I get screwed over. Paint itself will be costly so does it even matter if I have to replace the bumper or not? lol

if the owner wants to retain its resale value of the car. it is standard procedure to replace the part/panel than to repair it. Plus it is usually cheaper to replace than repair.
