Young, old, in between, people are inconsiderate disrespectful a-holes.

I was in my e92 m3 last week waiting for my pops to finish up in the hardware store. I was in the end spot of the row and all the way in the far side of the spot next to the curb.
This old guy (probably about 75 years old) in a 70s ford pickup pulls in next to me close, decides he's not close enough, backs out, pulls in CLOSER, then WHAM, intentionally slams his door open into the side of my car about as hard as one can open a door.

I immediately got out and he looks at my door, then his and laughs. Said, "don't worry sonny, my doors fine! I put these protector strips on it for when i hit bmws." Then starts walking away. I was fuming as i went to see if there was any damage.
Luckily it hit the plastic handle on my car perfectly on the rubber door strip of his shitty pickup and didn't leave a mark, not for his lack of trying.
Guy then says, "you a lawyer? I told my wife i better be careful parking next to this bmw because this guys probably a lawyer..." and he just walks away w/ his wife then into the hardware store. WTF.

you serious? i would literally get physically violent if that happened to me. Well, if it was in my E30 I would just back out of the spot, turn 90 degrees. and ram the side of his truck, and say, "whoops, sorry sonny boy, good thing I installed these steel bars on the front of my rally car to protect the bumper when I ram old trucks!"

and then I would drive away.

If i was driving my wife's E39 540i/6, that is when I would pull out the Glock.

and these are the assholes we have to share the road with. I do the same thing with my M3 park at end and closest to curb so there is plenty of room. Next time just stare at the the whole time, that's what I do then they open door very very slowly, even when there is more than enough room for the door.

I was furious, glad there was no damage and that i kept cool. Didnt think of it at the time, but it would suck to get shot in a hardware store parking lot over a door ding. CO is a concealed carry state and all.

Whenever some douschebag decides to take up one and a half-spots, I just squeeze my e30 into the remaining portion of the spot.
I then proceed to take a picture of the dude's license plate and sabotage if there's any scuffs on the paint when I'm back.
Typically, the dude will be really careful about not hitting my door because his car is usually nicer than mine, but it teaches the tool to park right.
