Me too! It's just been sitting around, I put like 500 miles on it last year. I started driving it regularly again, and everything is breaking now. The radiator blew, the heater core blew, the expansion tank broke, the SI board fried itself and the rest of the cluster, the OBC is draining the battery (which took me weeks to figure out), and now the shift linkage broke. All in the past month. Sucks because at one time this was a car I drove 200+ miles, kicked ass in Time Trials all weekend, and drove home, without a single glitch.
Age is harder on cars then mileage...Leave a comment:

Now my other e30 gets a chance to join this thread!

It was my fault. I bent the selector rod years ago to clear the big driveshaft counterweight thing, (which I no longer have installed), and it finally failed right where I bent it. I welded it back together, good to go for now. But I'll pick up a new one anyway.

Boost spike to 17psi on stock gasket and bolts. Too fun to stop.
Catastrophic head gasket failure.Leave a comment:

Ive always somehow got my cars home.
Only one time the TPS took a dump on my 535is,so i parted it out,in favor of a euro i knew for sale. A few months later that euro caught fire.
Ive towed cars to the shop when ive been to lazy to fix. Ive never payied for a Diag though! ;)Leave a comment:
