Back up and running already with fresh chain and sprockets. On a side note if you don't have a bike, you might want to consider it solely for the women. Saturday night when it snapped in Wrigleyville. I pulled over and waited for about 40 min for triple A. Got approached 3 separate times. One chick even got on, despite me telling her several times that I couldn't take her anywhere. Silly girls.

My friend had a CBR 600 F4i he wasnt afraid of it at all. He took a highway exit at 70-80 mph and lost control and flipped multiple times over with his bike tumbling behind him. He was lucky the worst that happened to him was a broken shoulder. When another ride came up on him he was scared to look because he thought he was dead. All motorcycles need to be treated with respect and the second they arent is when its too late. I wouldnt be alive if it werent for my dad wearing a helmet when he was t-boned when he was around 25. So that being said, if your going to ride, WEAR YOUR FUCKING GEAR.. AT ALL TIMES!

Took Everyone's advice and sold the R1 about a month ago, but I replaced it with a 2009 cbr1000RR. Don't know how long I'll keep it though, I've got my eyes on a Duc 1198

Someone asked earlier......more than 50% of motorcycle fatalities are single-vehicle incidents.........in other words fucking up a corner, not stopping, etc.

Everyone's advice was to buy a slower bike, not another liter bike.

You will love the Honda, I had a 2009 CBR 600, by far my favorite bike yet.

I don't understand though why everyone wants to "upgrade" to a liter bike. 600's are perfectly balanced.

This happened to me, anxious to ride so I took it out way to early in the season. It was around 40* outside, leaving work, highsided at about 10mph.

Broke the radial head in my right elbow, pulled about every ligament in both arms. My wife had to feed me for 2 days because my hands wouldn't reach my mouth. Then add in 6 weeks out of work playing PS3 all day and having to sell all of my toys to pay bills... Fuck that was not a fun experience.

Damn I went off track around 65 and only ended up with a banged up hip and a nasty concussion.

To be fair, I was thrown through the air like superman and tried to land on my hands... All 220lb of me.

It is funny though, I've been down 3 times. First 2 I didn't have leather's on, one of them was hitting a deer at 70mph. Walked away with minor road rash, no broken bones. Then I wise up and purchase a nice leather jacket, gloves, and break bones. Though I prefer a broken bone to road rash and "the brush" any day.

From one litre bike to another with a vastly more expensive one in the future, you sure must be progressing at a pretty fast pace.

Have you gone out and bought all the appropriate Icon riding gear to go with it?
