Much love for Mcmaster. I'm 2 states away and always get my orders the next day.

Yes, mcmaster is very very handy! Here's a bit of an update...I haven't updated this in a while. School started for me so I got sidetracked with other things and haven't had time to work on it lately. Anyways, I got some time to work on it the past few days. This is now a multi-process machine, lol. It will now be a bag sealer as well. The "extension" uses the same brain as the press, but with a foot switch instead of the 2 buttons. There is a heated alu strip that will seal the plastic.

There will be vids up in the next week or so, stay tuned :p

Just thought I'd update this thread. I finally finished on the press. I also built another stand for the other part (it was clamped on) because it was too tight and not enough work space when they were connected.

            The brains for it

This presses down onto this aluminum "bowl" and heat seals.

Here's the weld that it makes

            Here's the completed bag

            The brains

            It works very nicely!

looks great, what are you doing that requires you to seal so many bags?
The welds in the second picture of your first post look professional, very well done.

                Thanks man!

We make these bags for customers. We call them "dry-bags." They keep stuff dry while you're on the water fishing/paddling.
