Anybody ever see the garden spiders? They have a zig zag in their webs. We would throw grasshoppers in their webs and then watch the spiders getting bigger over the months. It was fun.

It was fun killing those fuckers when I lived in Fresno. Our backyard had a bunch and one day I got fed up and killed all of them with fire. I was really stoned and it felt like I was in a game advancing to higher levels killing bigger and bigger ones.

Nothing worse than minding your own business and then walking through a black widows web. Nobody looks cool after that happens

The scary part about these spiders, isn't just finding one under a log or in the shed. It's finding one in your shoes or my greatest fear, in the bed.

i used to work for the Forest Service and i marked timber. we would just walk in a straight line through the woods every day and in the morning you could see the dew on all the webs and it was terrifying if you let it get to you. however in the afternoon was even worse because the webs became invisible pretty much and my only defense was my biltmore stick (its like a long yard stick to quickly determine tree diameters) i would constantly wave in front of me or i would take a face full of webs every 20ft.

i thought black widows only had ground webs or in dark hidden places.
