Why do people have no problem paying literally double more for oil compared to Walmart , ADVANCE AUTO has VR1 quarts at $5.99 right now if anyone’s interested.

Castrol gtx costed me $17 at Walmart and $35 next door at zone.

VR1 is always cheap. Don't run it in your street car.

On another note, it's odd to think that late this year or early next we will likely see 0w-8 oils come to market in some places. Especially considering the 20w-50 I just put in my E30.

Why no vr1 in street car? I have in mine with no issues. Granted it doesnt get driven much maybe 1000 miles a year

Valvoline says it's a 3 month or 3k change oil. Probably because of the detergent package and conventional base oil.

Also, at least previously, the bottle clearly said it was not for use in catalyst equipped vehicles.
