Nothing yet haha. My car was resprayed by the po and it's pretty orange peely. I wanted to get some insight on wet sanding. Also, I wanted to see what you guys use for tire shine. I've tried a bunch but haven't gotten the results I'm looking for

At my parents place, where I grew up we were 1 out of 3 houses on the entire street that were not korean. I would look my neighbors in the eyes, wave and say hi, and they would just turn away. Also, they would tell me not to park my car on the sidewalk in front of their house lol.
my wife and i were in maui last month. we would drive around and see people would have traffic cones in front of their homes on the public street so people wouldn't park in front of their house. it was the weirdest thing to me. why don't the authorities come by and give these folks a nastygram?

I used to professionally detail what you looking for as far as insight? And tire shine i use the maguires long lasting stuff you put it on a rag and smear it on and then i take it back off to get a nice dull shine

I'm looking for a really glossy, or super "wet" shine. I'm getting the dull shine with that maguires extreme shit, that comes in a can.

Also, for wet sanding.. What grits are you using for each stage and how many passes do you do with each stage? And, what's a good polish to use when done?

Clay bars just get road contaminants out. It wont fix orange peel. If you have ever ran your hand across a car that has nice paint and is clean but feels course you use a clay bar on that to give it that silky smooth feel again. Or on white cars how some of them have what looks like black/rust spot on them. Clay bar will take those out too.

                            I concur.

despite being repainted at a reputable shop, my paint also isn't as shiny as it was before with the stock (slightly blemished) paint.

Might have to bite the bullet and get a "Professional fix" to get the shine I'm looking for. Luckily I don't have any orange peel.
Or maybe additional coats of clear would have helped
If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!

Could probably fix it with wet sand and polish
