        I think a lot of people just associate "expensive" with "nice" without any real thought process.

        Doesn't help that my e30 is neither expensive or nice :D

            Do they still have to make production cars based on their race cars like the e30s an allot of other cars or does that not matter anymore?

            like if the M cars are super different suspension wise and such ect?

                They are supposed to but I’m not sure whats happening now. The new m8 gtLM car is homologated to race at le man which means to meet FIA rules. Either 1000 or 5000 of them must be made for sale to the general public but I have not heard a thing about an 8 series and yet they are racing it.

                                                        So, I talked to the mechanic last week, and they opened the pan and said they found GRAVEL in there. They said the only way that could happen is if somebody had poured some in there... Also, 2 bent rods and a fukd #4 bearing. They think the gravel is what clogged the pickup and that starved the engine. But, the oil WAS under the dipstick a few months ago when I changed it. So, very well could be my error. What do you guys think? Someone pissed about how loud my car is? Ever heard of anyone doing that with gravel?
