Haha yeah, it works great for women our age. I laugh when I mention it to girls 24 or younger because it's totally lost. But man, 28-32yr old women just eat it up!

I used match. Went on some dates. Found love. Getting married.
Jeff speaks truth, it really is a numbers game in the end.

You'll see, tons of young professionals, lots of good looking girls, it's normal especially in areas around cities. Just another way to meet people.
100% agree, 26-33yr old is like a jackpot. So many beautiful women to talk to. Plus many of them are on at least 2 dating sites at the same time. (Okcupid and Match being the standard mix).

Ie: rock climbing, skiing/boarding, skydiving, zip line, etc etc. the even do cruises iirc.

It's sorta designed for people that are to busy for the "scene"

Buddy of mine met many chicks this way after his divorce, and is getting remarried to someone who loves all the same shit he does.
We have Events & Adventures in Dc as well. I've always thought about it, seems like it's pretty cool. Match.com just came out with a lesser version of that with outings at bars and local restaurants in such.

i was very much like you, I had many chics think I was cute, until i spoke to them. Then I just got all awkward and shit.

After taking acting classes, they would come over to my place to go over scripts and shit while my gf wasn't home and it was awesome! and sometimes the script would get pretty heavy, so then we'd kiss. The gf didn't liek ti much but quickly got over it.

Now when I meet a hawt chic, I have no problems talking to them like they were ugly. I even had this one striipper in vegas give me her number ( I didnt' even pay for a lap dance and wasnt' feeling too good after drinking too much blueberry vodka). We still keep in touch to this day.
Coming from someone in the arts, yes this really does work. I'm so thankful that I took acting and improv classes while I was in school. It's way better when you take independent classes.

I also seriously recommend yoga classes. I personally hate "regular" yoga cuz I can't stand that namaste background music and stuff, it's too distracting. I go to bikram yoga (hot yoga) twice a week and in Bethesda there are plenty of hot girls who go right after work during the week. I find it's easier to spark conversation at yoga than it is at a gym.

Plus, it's one hell of a work out and by far the best way to sweat out all the toxins and shit in your system.

My girlfriend (who I met online 2 years ago) convinced me to try Yoga as her birthday request as I had refused it for months and months, being surrounded by all the girls is one thing, the intense workout is a pretty legit reason to go back though. The thing I fucking hated was the whole "connect with the earth" bs, I just wanted to workout, not improve my spiritual mindset or whatever

Oh and I just signed up for a service called It's Just Lunch. Sounds pretty cool overall, I spoke with a "matchmaker" today to see if they would be able to take me on as a client. I have my interview setup for next week.

Basically they do an extensive interview with you and get a really good idea of who you are and what you're looking for. Then they setup a date for you (lunch or dinner) based on your schedule, they even setup the reservation for you!

It's very discreet and targeted more towards "young" professionals (25-45). Kind of expensive but it sounds like it may be worth it. My "matchmaker" said that she'll hunt me down after my date to get feedback so she can setup better dates in the future.

I'll let y'all know how it goes.

That's why I do bikram, it's about the workout and understanding how blood flow heals your body. None of this "connect with earth and be one with your spirit" shit.

I take your acting class, and raise you - cheerleading team at Syracuse University. No lie. You dudes think the football and basketball players get the girls? Think again.

I agree, cheerleaders can be attractive.

What's that gotta do with anything?
If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!

My buddy met his fiance online a couple years ago, they're getting married next year.

Can't say I care enough to try.

i just pull my dick out at parties/bars, spin it in circles or fly it around the room like its the the conchorde coming in for a landing.

its free advertisement, girls see my plane flying around and they all wana first class seat, little do they know i'll get a mad case of whiskey dick later on when we hook up, ending with me puking on their new carpet and stumbling out pantless...

                              JOKES ON THEM bwahaha

Met my wife online. It's a ton of luck and it's pretty hard to not come across as desperate or a cocky dick.
Match.com didn't work for me around here. But then again, I'm in the land of Mormons and the girls out here are a bit different.
We're old skool. The wife and I met on Myspace. :0)
