This, once you realize the many things you can do with a quality PC, you will see the boundaries that Apple places on their devices.

Don't want to hear it about viruses, a little common sense goes a long way.

I have been eyeing a Galaxy tab for some time now.... Ipad mini? Thought that's what the Ipod was.

Hold off on the Galaxy Tab because they are announcing a Nexus version at the end of the month. Its a Galaxy Tab with indefinite updates.

As for the iMini its hilarious to listen to my iFriends who talked at great length about how awesome the resolution of the iPhone was (despite only being like 10% higher than my phone in density, and only because of the smaller screen) now trying to argue that resolution isnt important.

"OMG you have hold the iphone 10 inches from your face and still not see pixels, you have to hold your phone 12.8 inches from your face!"

I laughed too. Im sure its a reaction to Comscore's recent numbers showing Android tablets pulling half of the market now, up from virtually nil a year ago.

I have an HP touchpad... got it on firesale for $100. I rooted it, got rid of the crappy HP WebOS and installed Jelly Bean android software. I snicker when I see people with $400+ tablets, mine is better than most I've messed with.

No longer stock ride height, rolling as low as a daily driver in New England should without worrying about breaking an oil pan.

Oh absolutely, I have Ice Cream Sandwich running on it with full options. It runs smooth. Sure the screen isn't glass and there are no USB inputs. Only input is microUSB for transfering/charging but I get to read my pointpoints/durp online with it.
