Just picked up Sleeping Dogs for $9.99 on Steam. Woot. As far as the release date, we can't control it, so why get frustrated?

Personally its because the game was announced in October 2011 and the first trailer in the first week of November 2011. With a release set for September, likely to be pushed a bit further out, two years is quite a long time to begin hyping a game up. But that's just me.

For comparison, GTA IV was first teased in March 2007 and the game came out April 2008.
