    Anybody into GM G-body cars?

I don't know why, but I have this weird thing for the G-body Malibu coupe, they look good if done right.

Also, my future malibu will of course have a built 350 (or larger), built turbo 350 trans w/ ratchet shifter OR 4-speed manual, and it will sound like it's gonna eat your children.

And this is precisely what it would sound like: (sorry no G-body in vid)

...and unfortunately, they are a favorite platform for modification by a certain cultural/racial demographic that I won't get into for reasons of political correctness, but let me clarify that this is NOT what I am getting at in this thread.

I had an '85 monte carlo at one point, i wish I had pics of it. I slapped in a Goodwrench 350 crate engine, but then I sold the whole car...

I love 'em. Not sure why, but I do.

I also think the Gumpert Apollo looks awesome and I want to swap a bbf into a first gen Honda Insight, though.

Any car can look great with some tasteful mods. The maroon one you posted looks pretty great, but they still don't do much for me.

G body's are great, old Malibus look great when done up tastefully. I am actually currently looking to get into old American cars again, but I have my sights set on something from the early/mid sixties

my first car was an 87 Regal, after I crashed it, I got me an 82 Malibu. Loved it, but sold it when I went into the Army.

Here's my Chevy small block that's in my Bel Air 383 with 202 al. heads, and a built 350 trans. with a ratchet B&M that I hate.
