Yeah I like the all business simplicity of the malibu as opposed to other G-bodys, the Malibu has the simplest front end and the sloped rear windshield. (I hate the stupid vertical windshields of the other G-body cars.)

Now the later front ends with the quad lights on the Malibus are the ones i don't really like. But I don't mind it on the El Camino though.

Love 'em. I have a box b-body myself, but for some reason I really like a lot of the old boxy GM stuff. Used to hate it, but it's grown on me, not to mention that it's actually possible to make them handle pretty well. My B has a 2.5 turn steering box, C10 truck springs (stiffer and 2" drop) 1.5" front bar, crown vic rear bar, LSD, and new cop shocks. It does damn well for what it is, and is actually fun to drive. 350 TBI/5 speed manual swap in progress atm.

It's actually not sagged much at all in this pic:

Looks like a couple of mini baja cars. Many universities have mini baja teams and compete nationally with other schools.

when i was in high school i had a 80 malibu 4-door with a bit of work done, my best friend had a 79 malibu 4-door, then 2 80 malibu 4-door, then another 79 malibu 2dr. his dad drives a 84 el-camino to work everyday, and has a 78 regal with a cage and a bit of motor to play with on the weekends.

i just bought a 84 regal t-type about 2 months ago. cant wait to put a 4.8ls in it, and bolt my turbo to it...

Yup, 2 SAE mini baja cars. I'm the chief engineer and also somehow the only person with a vehicle that can tow~5000 lbs.

The baja cars are rwd, 10 hp briggs, CVT or manual transmission usually, ~12 inches of suspension travel, and it's all fully adjustable. We design and build a new car every year, and this pic was taken on the way back from a competition in Louisville, KY. After we're done running them in the Baja series they usually end up with bigger engines running TREC races with RZRs or something similar. We built a ~30 hp briggs for one, and another team has one powered by a 65 hp v-twin.

I'd roll one of these. There is quiet a few clean ass donks in my neighborhood. I want one but I'd look ridiculous driving one.

I would not be seen dead in or near that car.
