    The R3V R/C car,truck thread.

There seems to be many R/C threads scattered around on r3v, and most are outdated or just asking about one thing. So this thread will be one for all of the ones that have wheels. The R/Cs that fly and float really should be in a differnt thread. We all know how these threads work, so post up what you got, and or ask questions!

Its a release of the first one they made. It's fun to tinker with indoors and a little outdoors. Not that fast in stock form. But i never really looked into what to do to mod it. I've started out with nitro and the t-Maxx was my first hobby grade R/C vehicle.

OP Which model of the Tamiya E30 did you get?

Was it the Schnitzer one? Or the Nicer Drift one...

Well they are both TT-01's but the Drift one is a TT-01D Type E... Has a few parts upgraded from the standard one.

Just seeing if he has the lesser one as thats what I plan on getting. Since I cant get myself a full size one this year...

I'd check your local Craigslist if your on a budget. Just make sure not to buy anything molested especially for your first.

If your looking to drift I'd go for the tt01d, but I'd recommend a hpi sprint 2. Easier to mod & belt driven over shaft driven tt01s

What are u going to be using the car for. Touring, drift?

                              You'd want a 2.4ghz radio.
Futaba or Spektrum is the go to.

Something cheap doesn't really matter as long as 2.4ghz. As for servos. Doesn't matter what you use. Doesn't have to be tamiya. May as well upgrade as stock servos are pretty "meh..."

                              U can get parts off
