Pretty cool to see some other off-road enthusiasts on this site too. Here are a couple of images of my Jeeps.

04 TJ: Owned it since new and have been wrenching on it ever since. Still one of the most reliable vehicles I have ever owned. It has about 250,000 miles on it now and the only things that I had to replace was the water pump and catalytic converter.






47 CJ2A: This is more of a long term project that I got from my grandfather after he passed away. It runs and drives so its fun to go on light back-country trails to camp.

At the offroad park, I think what happened was a combination of the frame rotting from the inside (common issue do to no drain hole), an old seized bushing, and over flexing the rear axle putting to much stress on the mount

Got one for $700. A 1997 with the 4.0L and 5 speed. Pretty base truck with AC,PM,Heated mirrors, Rear defrost and rear wiper. Picture is of it when I just bought it in the PO yard.

What mileage does an XJ get when its left stock?

I have a 98 4.0l auto and it gets about 18mpg if I don't beat on it too much.

That is all I've been driving during the day lately. Just have my bikini top on. We have had some beautiful weather the last couple days and my office parking lot is full of TJ's and JK's.
