anyone use tried those e-cigs like blu? I see them at the gas station and i'm tempted to get one for my brother to help him stop smoking but not sure if they would make a difference..

The blu ones are junk and will just cause frustration.

Pretty much what I've resigned myself to. I quit every time I put one out or run out. Then I'm driving home from the gas station almost without realizing and I'm like, "Fuck my motherfucking fuck". Ah well. I have 3 kids and want nothing more than to not smoke.

seems quite as expensive or more than smoking and seems like ppl are just replacing regular cigarettes with vaping..i would like to help him get off of it completly. But good info though

I created this thread 2 years ago.

Just wanted to state that it's now 2 years and i'm still SMOKE FREE.

not even a cheat, no nothing.

if I can do it, you most definitely can too.

Congrats man. I was a smoker until 2008, then a "I don't buy cigs but I'll smoke one with you while I'm drinking smoker" for a while.

I haven't had a cig in years though. Wallet is fatter (no it's not lol) so that's a plus. They're like $10/pack here.

I smoked 2+ packs a day for quite a while. Like was stated before, I wanted to quit with every cigarette. One day I had finished a pack, was broke, it was 1am, and I had to figure out a way to hustle my way to another pack. I had my window of opportunity of being done with smoking. I haven't smoked since! It's been about 9 months.

Also, after having quit, it's not the second, third, or fiftieth cigarette that gets you back... it's the first one. Don't even go there.

Also been clean for two years, one month, and thirty days today!

I'm 31 now. Been smoking since i was in middle school. Started vaping September '13 and smoked less than a pack since then. Enjoying the extra cash in my pocket and hope to find an e30 soon.

I quit december 30th 2014 so its been about 9 days now.... I havent had a drink because i know i will want to smoke. I've been having dreams of smoking the past few nights. I'm sad to quit but happy i'm on the road to recovery. Been smoking since i was 14 and i'm now 28 at almost a pack a day i thought its about time before some real damage is done. I like sports and exercising, i could feel the smoking holding me back lung capacity wise.

                            edit:

was just doing some math here... and id say averaging 4 packs a week at $12.50 is $200 a month, thats $2400 a year.... I should go buy another e30 :)

I was unapproachable for like 3 weeks and gradually got better.
