      Turn off the TCS and the other computer system that involves turning or whatever.

      Set you rear ratios so they arent as long which will keep the tires spinning, dial in anywhere from 2* of neg. camber to 3* sometimes more. Lower your ride height a few mm's away from being as low as it can go then stiffen up your shocks, etc. GT3 is a hell of a lot easier to drift on, I was pretty damn good in it but totally suck in GT4 (I never play it anymore because the dumbass system said my data was corrupted 3 times). The cars tend to kick back wayyy to hard which ends up with you spinning around and around.

      It'll take a long ass time to get good at it so dont expect to be the drift king on your 2nd lap.

        It's my friends PS2 so I haven't gotten to spend that much time with it yet, truth be told I'm honestly not sure how to change my car setup yet...
