So...my sister has a 98' laredo and for some reason the rear hatch doesn't lock anymore. All the other doors are locking but the rear won't!?!? Anyone know what to look for?

This thread scares me because I was thinking of a Cherokee. Is it always just simple crap like this that can be rigged in a pinch or does the transmission just fall out randomly?Im now E30less.

I know, I should not have sold mine. The only downside was (at least on the older ones) bare metal would rust through in about 15 minutes.Im now E30less.

buddy of mine had a grand cherokee in about 93 or 94 and the thing was one month old when the rear hatch failed, opened the hatch up and there was a sheet metal screw that was right in the wiring harness and had over vibration cut the wire. I'd pop the trim and get out the multimeter.Comment
