it's got a 4 banger, 2.5 by AMC. from what i understand the AMC is a far superior plant than the 2.5 chrysler used when they took them over.

Jeep went to shit after chrysler took over, IE there wire harnesses and sensor problems. That is a super nice truck man, very hard to find a clean jeep cherokee/comanche thats not rotted to hell in the north east

Yep.imho you did well getting the auto trans. 2.5 Amc will last as long as you keep feeding it huge amounts of dino juice.

My god that thing is loaded !!! you never see wing tip seats on mjs , so jelly man you scored !!!!!!! You can swap out the dummy gauges for regular ones with oil press gauge and temp gauge and rpms , it's a plug and play swap
