I get that, but I meant the part I quoted. Are you alluding to the fact that because they don't understand how awesome e30's are they will also not understand how awesome supermotoards are?

Haha nooo I'm just saying no one knows what a e30 is besides a car. And even though no one knows what a super moto is they see a bike think it's somewhat cool. Now I'm not trying to turn heads with my car or anything but when people constantly ask me why I don't get a newer bmw it's just like

sorry didn't see your reply until now. And all my actual friends know whats up with god's chariot, but everyone on campus sees it just another old bmw. And my dad thought the same thing, so with no power steering I made him drive "spirited" on a local back road, and when it was all said and done he climbed out the car with the biggest smile on his face.

Sorry again got off topic there, but yeah my commute is mostly freeway, drive about a mile and a half to get to the freeway from my house and half a mile from the freeway to work/school and about 15 miles or so on the freeway.

I want a supermoto bad.

My wife told me she wanted a baby before I got another motorcycle.... (I hit a deer at 75mph on my 06 zx636, and highsided my 09 CBR600RR, walked away from the first, broke my elbow on the other)

I think it's getting near that time though. Riding is something that is in your blood. You can delay it, but sooner or later you get back on.

I dunno though, when I get another bike it just might be a Honda shadow Phantom edition.

I am contemplating getting a motard and selling my V-Strom 1000. Seems it would be an even trade on the grin factor. But I would gain way more on fuel economy. But I am a big SOB and I spent a decent amount of effort getting the V-Strom exactly the way I want it. It'd be a shame to get rid of it.
