Eric that is a crazy fast time man! congrats...I managed in the 1.53s right now...just realized I don;t have to use the slush box...

1.52.777 is my best so far..I'll send the pic tomorrow...Had a couple laps that would have be in the 49s but just dropped a wheel on both of them...That is some fast driving by you guys. I'm impressed.....No adds correct?

Correct, although there appears to be some debate about ABS.

Definitely doing this tonight. I've been in the low 1.50's, running it with no tune or assists on a wheel.

Gotta mess with that tire pressure and see where that gets me.

It's in the "Free Play" section on the main menu.

            Edit: Wait, what?

I was wondering if you guys with the crazy fast times have been using assists, since I've been playing completely raw and can't come close. Nope, I just suck.

My best time; I haven't been able to beat it so I had to go back to the Leader boards to get a picture. EDIT: Actually, that's a lie. I got a couple of 1.46.*** but they were all dirty.

Go to community, leaderboards, Circuit, Class C, Laguna. Open that up and select Launch Race up top.

This gives you a ghost as well.

Only problem with doing it this way is if you've already run Laguna in a C-class car and have managed a faster lap than whatever you can do in you M3.

I'm using a controller. Would really like to get a wheel again.

I'm still being too sporadic to put together a clean lap. I've run multiple low 1:46s dirty, but haven't put together a clean one. Either drop a wheel somewhere, or botch a corner with a slide. I really like to mess up the last corner, either cut it short or get on the rumbles at turn exit, which of course blows the next lap.

Well I got my time to just below 1:50, with a 1:49.544 that's over 10s from where I started. Playing this again makes me want to get a wheel setup.

I'm using a Fanatec Porsche GT2 wheel with club sport pedals and stand

Nice setup, very nice response and you get that road feel

Being able to push the brake and gas pedals makes driving R1s even with no TCS/ABS easy, and long swooping corners actually enjoyable and steady

Not that it's helping in my time... I just suck :p will give it another shot today.

If anyone can figure out their ghost I'd really like to see it

I've got a fanatec CSR wheel. It's a lot of fun but I can easily shave 3/4 to a second off my times when I use a controller

That's interesting, I would have thought it was the other way around.
