      So please tell me, what makes the ring better?
      Wut? Driving a car in a straight line fast isn't exactly what I consider fun.

        Are y'all going to be in France first? I've used Wheels in Europe LLC multiple times (Google it, tapatalk won't let me post the link for some reason). I rented four Renault Trafics from them--pretty painless.

        I did the math a summer ago and gas cost came out to about $9/gallon. Depends on where you are (this, being translated, means, "never buy any bleeding gas in Switzerland").

          This isn't honestly a real question now i it??????????????

          The Autobahn is a Highway, nothing more, nothing less. How i the highway even remotely similar to a racetrack? Yes, you can drive fast in some parts, but it is not a racetrack. WOW, I think I've heard it all now. thank you R3V. Nothing makes me feel safer than thowing a few kiddies on the highway who think the autobahn is a fun personal racetrack.

            :up:

            I'm driving 120km Autobahn every day to work and I hate those stupid kids thinking they're best racedrivers cause they overtake me with parents 750i.

              I rented Audi a4 wagon last winter 6 spd manual. I traveled from Frankfurt to Zurich. It was kind of fun. I was keeping speed about 150 km/h, where is the sticker on the dashboard said not to exceed 210km/h during winter months. I was enjoying this trip on the autobahn, but I'd imagine it is not close enough to a real run around the N'ring.

              p.s. Cant comment on the car rental, since I paid about 350.00 for one day rental at Eurocar...but this was one way travel from Germany to Switzerland.

                Yes. Absolutely.

                Want to race? Go to the racetrack.
                Want to cover distance quickly? Drive in the right lane of the autobahn, check your mirrors before passing.
                Autobahn = Racetrack?
