Maybe I'm just not as critical, but what were you guys expecting? I thought it was really cool. No outrageous plots, no crazy twists, no CGI effects every 5 seconds, just hot girls, tits, and gruesome violence. It totally reminded me of all the slasher flicks like Sleepaway Camp and Friday the 13th that I loved so much when I was a kid. It was depraved, violent, gruesome, and just a little bit campy, which I like. I like the slime pouring out of the japanese girl's eye, and I loved how fake the german guy's hand looked when he cut his fingers off, immediatley reminded me of the Evil Dead movies. I thought it was damn well worth it for a horror flick. I'm a huge horror movie fan, and I don't go into them with high expectations, so I'm rarely disappointed by them, I thought it was good. Of course, I loved Cabin Fever, so I thought Eli Roth did a pretty good job with his second offering.

This thing was early 70's b-movie stuff at best.

I wasn't expecting Oscar-caliber performances, so I didn't feel let down by it. I totally thought it nailed that 70's slasher feeling, so I liked it. Maybe that wasn't what he was going for, but it worked for me. *shrug*

Save yourself the $14 from Munich. God that movie was horrible. In all honesty it had a very good plot. But it's SLOW.... like my m10 slow. It takes forever to develop the plot.

It's 3 hours long. If they compiled it all in 1 hour and 1/2 it would've been an awsome movie.

Exactly my feeling. It wasn't very gorey, the plot sucked, the acting sucked, all the nudity (while nice) was completely unnecessary. It was like a ballsy version of EuroTrip.

I wish. They don't even really show anyone getting killed, except for a few people that get shot.
