    Chev-a-lay SS

    G.T.O..er, nope, Pontiac is gone..

Ahhh, lets make it a Chev this time...

probably the only non truck 4 door I would consider from Chev, even if it is actually an Australian Holden instead of an American Chevy. actually that doesn't bother me either.

    what is r3v's take?

Meh, they used Super Sport on 1963 ChevyIIs with 4 and 6 cylinders in them. Along with other not really "Super Sport" cars and trucks... I do think its kind of neet that they are going to try something with it again.

Finally a Chevy that might be worth buying, if the interior material actually resembles a luxury car.

            Not real Holden, not want...

If it was a serious Holden like the Holden HSV I would salivate profusely...

Hmmm... Like the whole rear wheel drive giant motor 50/50 weight distribution thing..
              But..

              No manual makes me sad
Seems like a step in the right direction though

No manual is unbelievable!? What is this an ls3 car?

Also this whole rebadged Australian car does really fit here in America imo. There to sporty looking. I don't think Americans (myself included ) can appreciate tidy sports sedans, I love me some 96 impala tho if you get where I going. Just look at the G8 sales. I think for any sedan to sell well here it has to be big, manly, hairy and aggressive like the Charger. I think the CTSV only does well because it appeals to more than just blue blooded Americans, like yuppies and those who would also consider euro cars. Something called a "Chevy SS" will likely only appeal to blue blooded Americans and I don't think its imposing enough for us to buy in. We will see tho.

On a side note I'm I the only one waiting on ford to ditch the live rear axle, and drop that coyote in a Lincoln and go after cts? I think this would transform Lincoln like cts did Cadillac

I'm pretty sure we're getting this car next year, as the Imapla. Base models will be FWD, & the SS will be RWD

That sounds highly unlikely. I can't think of one platform that's ever come FWD and RWD. Usually one +AWD.

Well Toyota did it, with 84-86 Rollas....

The Ae86 was a seperate platform from the FWD corolla.
