29er's are rad, an associate just picked up a real sweet Giant after collecting insurance for his stolen bike. And, sweet on the T4i, will it be your first DSLR?

I have had my old diamondback full suspension for ever! Still ride it today, switching to a hard tail as the main bike for back and forth to work! I work/live in the foothills where the trails go forever!

This is my 2nd DSLR after my d3100, retired her to my parents and going with canon after borrowing my buddies t4i!

People who get huge tax returns every year have their withholding set up to do it intentionally, typically because they aren't good managers of money. That included me several years ago, though these days I prefer not to give the gubmint an interest-free loan every year.

I don't even own this car anymore, but I'm too lazy to change the picture.

Wow that's a bullshit statement if I ever read one.
That may be how some do it, but not all.

My wife is required to have a car for her job, so we are able to write of the 15% depreciation of our car every year for around seven years. The gas used during work is a write off, our child care costs are a write off, RRSP and professional dues, licenses required for our careers, continuing education, are all write offs. The people who get large returns know thier money and the system, and know where the write offs are.

I will begrudgingly write the checks on the evening of April 14th and mail them along with the designated vouchers on the 15th.:hitler:

I was targeting the average R3V demographic with my statement, and I stand by it. I know a lot more about money now than I did when I was in my teens and twenties. Maximizing my withholding, and subsequently my annual refund, was the right way for me to do it in those days since I wasn't itemizing, didn't have a mortgage, and didn't have retirement accounts, insurance policies and (health) savings accounts from which to invest. I'm sure there are more than a few of us who itemize and take advantage of all the deductions we can, though I'd bet we're the minority - at least in this subforum.

I got to write off a bunch of tools for work. And being a student who is super poor helped too.

I got an 88 325iX coupe, 5 spd, Houston car never seen snow or salt, no rust :)

Paying off debt (CC, good ole $400 propane heat bill [fuck my house] and parts bill at work), some for the V8 car, and some for the e46.

If some is left, I may look at getting a Saiga 12.
