One can only guess why they might go to the crusher? I think one of the reasons as these cars were snuck into the country without proper importation and seized by EPA or DOT? and were towed to be destroyed! I know my RHD 730i always is in question when I am driving as I see cops always running plates or checking the car out when I stop at gas stations and so forth. Some reason importation is tougher on RHD cars then euro LHD. Part the cars out and send the remains to the crusher. Or I have transporter plates that I own that I can use to drive this cars if one doesn't make it to the crusher (wink) lol
