The kits all have their place. To be honest, for the amateur shooter photo technology is getting pretty exciting. These smaller body setups with big sensors are getting really nice. Problem is, the focus speed and overall speeds just aren't up to the standards of the big body cameras. I think this will be improving and I think it's pretty exciting. Even currently there are so many good cameras out you really can't go wrong.Originally posted by z31maniacI just hate everyone.

OMD has one of the fastest A/F times of any Camera available with the 45mm and the old gen 1 17mm from Olympus its lighting fast, and the at the time of release the fastest auto drive of 9 FPS. But it does fall down with in the A/F tracking dept, that is one of the few limitations of the OMD to the big boys in purely statistical stand point. Though it does seem to be as good as the A/F tracking on my 40d for the most part
Your right if your buying NOW even some of the top tier point and shoots are are getting to where its very hard to go wrong. there have been some new announcements for APS-C sized sensors in P&S from the likes of Pentax for 500 bucks, and top dog Cool Pix for 1100. with a fixed fast 35ish equivalent prime lens out front. Though I think Nikon and the Pentax are not that fast at f2.8Last edited by mrsleeve; 04-01-2013, 10:17 AM.Originally posted by FusionIf a car is the epitome of freedom, than an electric car is house arrest with your wife titty fucking your next door neighbor.
