How many cars do you own, or would like to own at a given time?

currently there is 18 vehicles on the property. not counting tractors
2 daily drivers
3 dedicated for scrap
1 demo car
4 Enduro cars
2 VW bugs for restoration
1 AMC spirit, my first car from high school
4 pick ups waiting for trailer conversions
1 car waiting to be a daily driver when one of the DD's dies

also 3 tractors (2 of them run)
1 quad
1 riding mower
and 4 house trailers (2 are good, 2 are being scraped out)

I think my personal high point was 5 at once, but I tend to rotate frequently.

I have two: a 2001 VW Golf, 1.8T with APR tune and OEM GTI bits as my DD and an S52 swapped e30, but could do with more. Assuming I had space. And money. But a work horse truck would be pretty awesome.

I wanna replace the Nissan with a pickup and have 1 more car...I need another e30 in my life.

3 + a motorcycle is the perfect amount.

1. Mountain/ Camping mobile (4x4) that you can haul a lot of stuff in and not care too much about should it get scuffed or dented.
- For me that would be a Jeep Grand Wagoneer (woodie) or a 5.9 Limited Grand Cherokee
2. A daily driver like an E36/46 M car
3. A project/track car that you can continuously devote time and attention to that you don't need to worry about having road worthy or take daily driving responsibilities like an E30

and the wife's '04 Honda Pilot. She made me get rid of my second love a '94 Honda Accord and insists I get rid of the e34. I caved w/ the Accord but I ain't given up my bimmers. I'd love to own 2 or 3 more e30s maybe 4 lol.

Just the 330i and the 325is for me, at the moment, at least. It fluctuates from month to month. Dad has an E60 545i and Mother has an E46 330i.

I do have a '55 Chevy 1500 stepside that is my very very long term project, but I don't foresee doing anything on that for another 5 years or so, so it doesn't really count.

Realistically, no more than 4-5. More than that, and it just gets stressful. Plus, I don't have enough damn parking for all these cars!

As much as i like to, i keep seeing cars that makes me want to go back to my roots (A and B body Mopars). But then again i have an e30 planned out in my head of how i want it to look!

325es is about to be parted out due to it not starting and lots and lots and lots of rust.
318i sedan was an impulse buy because it has zero rust, rare for michigan. Been sitting because of idle problems that I have yet to solve.
325i sedan, another mostly rust free car that i snatched up, currently in pieces for a full rebuild.
328i e36 sedan for DD. Wishing I had bought something else though...

If I was stupid rich I would end up being like Jay Leno who owns something like 150+ cars.
