Currently I have 2 E30s, one project and one daily. But I use the SO's 07 Civic often. They aren't bad cars, just bland.
---
Within a few years or so I'd like a total of 3, but I'd be ok with just 2 for me if the SO upgraded to something else.
- Another Estoril Blue Z3 M Coupe, because I miss my old one.
- Project E30 maybe not finished, but further along.
- Something meh (Honda Civic/Hyundai) with a warranty*
Ideally, I could add another into that mix, that had space+all wheel drive, but it's not necessary for me right now.
---
*So I can easily get the Shoe and E30 on a ridiculous warranty where if something were to happen to either one, I wouldn't go on a path of destruction fueled by rage when I receive an offer that makes me go berserk?

I have 5 at the moment and none of them sit outside.
88 M3
89 325IX
90 325I
99 Carrera 4 - looking to replace it with a 996 turbo or 997 carrera
94 Chevy Z71 - looking to replace it with an 01-02 2500 HD or a new Z71
Over the next 2-3 years I am hoping to add another e30 M3, 2002, Datsun 240z and a Datsun truck. Somewhere along the way I'll need to add an air cooled Porsche.

I'd really like to own just two. One of those will be a 70-72 240z. The other will be a sedan or wagon of some sort. For now, it's a MK2 Jetta. In the future, I'd like to get another E30 (sedan this time) or maybe something newer like a WRX or E46. There's a lot of other cars I'd like to have, but I've got limited time, money, and space, and I don't like working on cars. A big stable isn't gonna work for me.
Current line up:
71 240z - rusted beyond repair, gonna be selling my E30 to fund the purchase of a solid chassis.
76 280z - more rust than I can handle, gonna sell it or scrap it.
53 CJ3B - loads of rust, might get rid of it.
86 Jetta - DD, may 16v swap it, may sell for a 4Dr E30.
88 E30 - for sale.

Yes. This. Absolutely.
Currently have 2 cars, the E30 and an E350 Merc.
Ideal garage at the moment would be:
Ducati Monster (commuter)
Mini Cooper JCW (daily)
993 Porsche (weekend)
In a perfect world with lots of space and "reasonable" budget I'd have:
1994 Mercedes E500 (runout model with all the fruit please)
1990 BMW 325iS Evo 1 (ie: my E30 right now)
1996 Porsche 993 RS (clubsport pack preferably)
1995 Audi RS2 (in blue, natch)
2005 BMW M3 CS (90% of the CSL at not 90% of the CSL price)
1999 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 6.5 Makinen (I still miss mums - yes, really)
1996 Ferrari 550 (with the HGTE handling pack)
1993 E34 M5 3.8 (5spd model with the Nurburgring package - probably difficult to find)
2001 Lotus Exige (series one, probably with a Honda motor swap)
2009 Maserati Quattroporte S (That noise!)
I say this is a "reasonable" budget because every car can be picked up for less than $50K USD right now, save for the 993 RS, which sadly was only €80K euro some 9 months ago, and is now trading at over €200K euro.

Currently own two.
My e30 which is in the garage unless the weather is nice.
My e34T is my daily, road, trip, bike hauler, everything car.
Ideally I'd love to have those two, plus a motorcycle. Just haven't pulled the trigger on one yet.91 318is M50 swapped

Currently 3:
- 4Runner (DD), 06 Miata (old DD and getting ready to go up for sale), 90 Miata track rat (currently being parted out).
In the future, I'll probably pay off the 4Runner then buy a weekend and occasional track car instead of having a dedicated track rat. I just don't like all the money and effort it takes for a dedicated track.Need parts now? Need them cheap? steve@blunttech.com

You can tell we're all car obsessed Americans. My list of cars is growing and I have a 2 mile drive to work. I probably only put about 7-8k miles a year on all of my cars as a whole. After I buy a new house this summer I'm going to be able to walk or ride a bicycle to work and my mileage will drop even further. It won't stop me from collecting cars though.
