The question becomes how much do I put on top? If I were to sell my e30 I would look to get $3500 $3000 is lowest I would take.
I offered $2500 and he wants more but he wont give me a figure of what he wants for the car. I really want one but I don't want to overpay

no, it is in Las Vegas which I am going there this weekend to visit my dad but I wasn't planning on bringing the e30 because there is not enough room for the family and all the crap I have to bring

MAYBE after it gets an OK from PPI I would consider talking price but assuming it's all good and he gives you 3500 for the value or your car and wants 2500 on top thats a 6k e36 M3 sedan. Sounds fair if it is a 5 speed and depending on what work it needs.

Shitty pics, "rebuilt tranny" and a lower mileage motor? Does he have any proof of those two things?

I see crap like this popping up a lot; people claiming to have lower mileage motors installed and rebuilt transmissions on their BMWs without a single piece of paper proof. That used to be mainly a Honda/JDM thing, claiming swaps/rebuilds etc to boost up the price.

If he has no proof, assume its a lie.

that is something that worries me too I know what I have with my e30 and I am an honest person but many people are not last time I bought a car out of state it ended up having a blown headgasket.


I wont be spending 8k+ for a e36 M3 although the 4 doors would be nice I do believe the e30 is a better built car and for that much I can have a S5x swap and have a faster lighter car
