    Cook at Sonic in college.

But it really wasn't even that bad. My roommate was the manager (working through his HRAD degree), so I'd just get blazed up and go to work.

Worst job ever was working for Weapon R ( the company out here in CA that makes intakes and shit ) worked for a guy who was in the US for three months out of the year and spent the other nine in Hong Kong spending daddy's money ( the owner was his dad ) Never ran the heater in the winter so it would be 30* all day inside and never ran the AC during summer so it would be 100* all day inside. We had a total of six employees, and two of the were sponsored, so they actually didnt do any real shit but sit there, jerk off, and get paid. And when we had to fabricate a part for a new car, we had to go out and rent it.

Washed dishes at a BBQ joint for a while. That sucked. Worst part was cleaning the smokers out back on a 100 degree day. They were so big that you had to walk inside and power wash them.

I also had to inspect the crawl spaces of a housing development on a very hot day. Crawling on your stomach in a one-piece coverall, a hat, and a mask is not nice in a hot confined space. Add the mold and rodents and you have yourself a party.

He had this idea that all americans were dumb and lazy yet he never did anything but sit there and yell at everyone. My job consisted of delivering whatever a person needed that their insurance covered, to their home. Some homes were awesome, some homes were racist. This is texas.

One day I had a late delivery and I showed up to the gus house and had to change his med-bed. He was a severe diabetic and was on the way to losing his lower half of his body. His legs were the size of propane tanks. I used a cherry picker to lift him out the bed and he started going on about random shit he thought was complimenting. His exact words were "Oh man, your tall and strong. Do you play basketball? you people love basketball" I replied no and asked what he meant by "you people" he replied "oh you know, you blacks or afrcans. whatever the fuck. You guys love baketball. If you don't play that's a shame. I could imagine you being very good at it. Just think, your parents picked cotton for you not to play sports? that's silly."
I replied that my parents didn't pick cotton. He said "sure they did. They probably still do. you just don't know it. By the way do you want anything to drink? all we have is water and coke. Sorry, no grape soda."
I then left him on the lift and brought him his disassembled bed. MY boss called me yelling about all types of shit totally disrespecting me so I reported him and his company as he has been illegally charging peoples insurance for medical items they never had nor did he offer. For example, this one lady asked me to bring her an oxegen tank. When I got to her house she showed me the bill her insurance got and its printed on her medicare summary that she has had a medical bed, wheel chair, lift, and o2 machine for the past 2 years totalling over $160k for those two years. I was outraged. Left that day and told my boss "Go back to india, and by the way... I'm reporting you"

He sold his business the very next week as medicare began an audit. Fuck that guy.

                /rant... shit.
                wow...! fuck that douche.

my worst job was a summer back when i was about 19 or so. my dad was on my ass so i went to one of those temp placement agencies. they hooked me up with a job in a machine shop. the job consisted of standing in front of a spot welder and making automotive door hinges. someone would come by with a fork lift and drop off a pallet full of parts. i had to take a part out of the pallet and spot weld a couple caged nuts to it, then drop it in another pallet. it was basically just an endless monkey job with no affirmation. the shop supervisor was really stupid. the only thing he and anyone else who worked there had to talk about was shit they did in high school. i lasted exactly one day.

a summer later, i worked for a hvac company. it was basically a good place to work, but the other techs/installers were complete dicks. they really abused the shit out of me every opportunity they had. the worst was the guy they normally paired me up with named kenny. he was a loud obnoxious little napoleon. he would fuck something up on the job and just start screaming at me, blame me for whatever it was, then he would call the boss and tell him it was my fault. the boss knew what a lazy lying asshole he was, but apparently couldn't find anyone to replace him. he would always waste as much time as possible when he was on the clock. some days he never did a goddam thing. there was two occasions that summer where this asshole left the job site in the morning within an hour after we started installing someone's air conditioner. in both instances he would be gone the entire day. around 4 pm, the customers phone would start ringing off the hook. finally, i would stop what i was doing and answer it. it was always the owner or owner's brother saying that kenny got arrested, was in jail, and he was driving out to pick me up from the jobsite.

i quit before college that fall. i told the owner not to mention to the installers that i was quitting because i wanted to get those bastards. he said that was just fine with him. on the last day, i rubbed axle grease all over the driver seat and the inside door handle on kenny's truck. i was standing there when he got in to drive off. i said "see you latter man!" he never noticed until he got to where he was going. by the time he got back, i had already left for the day(permanently), but knowing his personality, i can't imagine how pissed off he was.

earlier that same day, kenny and i drove by the parts supply outlet and we saw the other installer's truck was sitting outside. kenny said, "hey, i'll buy you lunch and give you 20 bucks if you go over there and fuck with their truck. i figured, hell, its my last day and they are assholes, so why not? i took a supersize bottle of pumice hand cleaner over there and squirted it all over their windshield, the dash, and seats. i left the bottle laying on their floor board. then i took their tools and scattered them all over the parking lot. kenny bought me lunch as he promised. toward the end of the day back at the shop, i saw that other crew and blamed everything i did to their truck on kenny.(he wasn't there at the time) they were big burly fuckers and they hated him as much as i did. i don't know what became of it, but with any luck they beat the shit out of that little asshole.

I've been self employed my whole adult life so I guess the "worst" job I've had was when I was 12/13, we'd spend days around the nearby golfcourse collecting balls in the bushes, ponds and streams. That involved leeches, snakes, ticks, mud, etc. and then cleaning all of the balls.
But we sold for a buck a piece and I was able to afford a Super Nintendo and some cartridges.

I had to unload the semis and was working 3am to 9ish am. Was in school at the time and couldn't make my morning classes. I stayed for two days, fuck that place. Been fairly blessed with enjoyable jobs since. I don't make a ton but I love what I do and make plenty to live on for now.
I saw the title of the thread and this was by far the worst. Same thing but loading UPS trucks in the hot summer nights. IIRC, there was a bonus after 3 months because the turnover rate was so high, they wanted people to stay...most couldnt...like me. Just awful.

Have not had a real job yet but I do yard work for my older neighbors, and I HATE yard work.

Current "job" is self employed, I buy salvage/shouldbesalvage Cars and part them out for cash.

I would say my worst job was when I was like 15. My dads friend had a huge tire crusher at the dump that would mangle tires and spit the metal out one end and the rubber out the other.

We get there at 4:30 am and he has me crawl under the machine because the oil needed to be changed and he just dumped it right in the dirt and refilled it. But before that he had me climb into this huge truck and grab the oil. It was dark so I stepped on a piece of wood with a nail sticking out and almost went completely through my foot. My specific task was to "police" the area and grab any tires rolling away but I ended up loading them on the conveyor. This day lasted about 13 hours, I managed to step on something else that went through my other foot and my hands had cuts from the steel belts.

I lasted one day and it really put into perspective how lucky I was in my future jobs.

my first internship was at a print shop in the san fernando valley. primary function was to check film density for each screen using a digital density reader. line it up on a spot, click it and it tells you if it's good to go.

first day on the job was a shocker, checking the magenta film... it's a giant cock. and where was the densest coverage of magenta, right on the head of his dick. they printed VHS boxes for gay porn. i left halfway through my second shift.
