PS4, but I don't game all that much anymore. Racing games aren't that much fun anymore when you take a real car to the track (would be more fun if I could have gotten the G27 wheel setup properly for F1).

I think I've had the newest Assasin's Creed for a few months and I'm still only ~25% through it. Fun game, I just find myself doing other stuff.

I will, however, definitely be picking up the new GTA

As an xbox owner I pretty much stopped gaming last year. I will not be buying one or the other.

Always had amazing lan parties, tons of friends over to eat pizza and game for the weekend. Now people just sign on and sit alone. No interaction and fun, just competitive.

Wow you feel the exact same way I feel. When I go to visit my friend who still plays I just shake my head. He's literally up to 5 am in a dark basement playing all alone. I miss the good old days when it was 6 guys in a room playing 3 on 3 nba 2k. Good times.

^^I used to think that too, but with the amount of work that goes into the detail of games nowadays, it is almost necessary to charge extra. All our favorite game companies would go out of business. Now on their end, they need to listen to the gamers and take some advice to improve their games to the customers likings.

Well if that's the case they need to up the initial price or find another way to gain revenue. I hate when my step kid wants to play with a car that he can't earn and I have to buy it. Like wtf I just bought the game!

Yep, in college we would either play teams on Madden or sit around and smoke out playing NBA street.

I went and picked up a PS2 on release day, promptly flipped it to a coworker that needed a gift for his kid, for 2 1/2 times what I paid, and never replaced it. Last game box I had was a PS 1

Getting a PS4. I am a die hard Xbox guy but I am just so enraged at the greediness of Microsoft. The 24 hour connection thing is a stupid a$$ attempt to make people buy their gold memberships all the time which is supposed to jump up in annual price... Again. I am not a fan of the feel of a PS4 controller, but I will definitely be buying that this go round. I wish there was a PS4 controller with joysticks not so close together.

Why is PC/ Oculus Rift not an option here?

With PC you aren't locked into any bullshit, within a few months of release PC tech will already be ahead of the consoles (again). Plus the Oculus Rift should demolish any other attempt at immersion.
