I got two (relatively) minor speeding tickets within two months of getting my license when I was 17. I lost my license for 180 days as a result. And I feel NO pity for you.

The tickets I got weren't for doing 100mph+, weaving in and out of traffic. When I was 17 I got caught going way in excess of the limit in the middle of the night on the empty (except for the cop on the side of the road that I passed) freeway (405) I was detained, my license was suspended, my parents sold my 72 Challenger which I had many 100's of hours & much money into for nothing.

I lived in Bel Air, Ca which is in the hills with no public transport of any kind and I was forced to WALK three miles each way to the nearest bus 98% of the time.

When I got my license back I was forced to BUY my parents 76 B210. (this was in 1979 for the 1800 blue book value)

In retrospect this was just, fair and reasonable.

do you realize all i did was ask a question about the color of smoke? then people had to talk shit and turn the thread into whats its become.




and its more like it was impossible for me to be weaving in and out of traffic if he was pacing me. As i've already said I wasnt weaving in and out of traffic. I merged into the right lane, changed to the left, and pulled to the left shoulder when he pulled me over.
