Some kid asked me that the other day I just said thats not how you negotiate.

He made a "low" offer which was way higher than my bottom dollar

When I was selling cars and a customer would make a ridiculous offer like half the asking price. My favorite tactic was to come back several thousand over the original asking price.
There is no denying Dealerships make money, but A) that's what they're there to do, and B) the days of making 50-25-hell even 10% profit are long gone thanks to internet. At least in marque, I don know nothing bout domestics.
