Let the police do their things and stay back, dog would still be alive.

I really wish i hadnt seen this either, i own a dog and watching this really made me sick to my stomach.
But like people have said in this thread, this kind of stuff happens, the only difference is, that it was recorded on tape this time.
Have you heard about the cop who shot kittens in front of screaming children and got away with it?
Shit's real, it sucks, and i HIGHLY doubt the cops are going to get punished for this, they rarely do. It's very real, and it really fucking sucks.私は日本語を話すことができないComment

As shitty as this is, I feel it is the owners fault.
I'm sure that dog's owner knew his dog was protective. So why would he even bring the dog into that situation? Then he failed by not securing the animal, which I'm sure he also knew that the dog would be willing to jump out. Hell I had a rot jump out of a truck window from 6 feet to go greet another animal. I'm sure he would have jumped from higher if he felt I was in danger.
In the end, IMO, this is the owners fault. We don't know why the police approached him, but from the looks things this was a relatively serious crime scene. They could have already been on edge and just wanted to ask the guy some questions. Until the entire story comes out I think it is a little unfair to blame the police.
That officer demonstrated a hesitation to shoot the animal. He only shot after repeated lunges and obvious acts of aggression. I don't think I would have let that dog get ahold of me either.
Sad day indeed, I feel for the owner, but I'll wait before I grab my pitchfork and torch.
It's ultimately the owner's negligence.
One of the guns is actually an HK MP5 (9mm). I can't make out the other one.Comment

Here's one from a couple of weeks ago, the story behind it is "cops were called in to take a report on a runaway kid. Signs are clearly posted in front of the fence, yet cops walk in without any care" results in a poor dog shot and unable to survive the injuries.

Man, someone needs to see how those cops would feel with some .223 injected into their bodies at high velocity.
Didn't even watch the vids, but this makes my blood boil.1974.5 Jensen Healey : 2003 330i/5Comment

Sadly the officers will not be reprimanded for this, in fact they will will just get a paid vacation till all of this settles.Build your own dreams, or someone else will hire you to build theirs!
