Turn them inside out before you wash them.

      Let's talk jeans

Put them in the freezer for a couple days. Kills the bacteria from my meat sweat. Didn't wash my jeans for over a year and they turned out great when I finally washed them. No pics sadly. All the wear marks came out perfect

Thoughts from the jean gods appreciated as these jeans aren't cheap and if i can extend the life of them, bully for me.
Some say freezing them is just a myth, I do not have a lab to test for bacteria growth before and after...but leaving my jeans on the clothing line when it is below zero out always makes them super fresh and clean smelling. Then if you need to clean them because of food or something getting on them; depending on level of clean you need you can do a soak(cold-warm water) with some woolite black detergent(Walmart carries it). Weight the jeans down with some small rocks etc for around 1hr then hang dry.

When my GF met me a year ago she was skeptical of how I took care of my jeans and she always thought it odd that I would wear the same pair everyday and just see how they changed over them time with her. She respects the time and loves how soft the jeans are, they do not smell sour or have a weird smell. There is something special about taking a pair of raw blue jeans and breaking them in to make whiskers, combs and stack fades that crease when you sit down and such, like leather the jeans become your own not some ugly distressed jeans from a designer in China armed with sandpaper and a washing machine filled with rocks.

While I don't buy the $100 pairs, I have one pair of 559 levis that I have washed maybe 4-5 times in the last year, cold water, never hit the spin cycle and air dry. I'd rather lounge in those then a pair of sweats any day.

Tried on some pairs of apc and NF, with the end result being my ass nearly destorying the jeans. Those two brands are made for guys who have no ass muscle.

The gap selvedge denim jeans fit me perfectly. Anyone know of any higher end selvedge denim that fits like gap?

According to their sizing chart my gap jeans are 37 waist? I always wear 33x32.

I have a lot of ass/thigh muscle, its risky business to buy online and hope they fit, I thought NF and APC would fit well, but when I tried them on in person my thighs and ass nearly ripped the jeans.
