If you DO feel like you wasted 6 years, then you shouldn't have spent that much time. I wasted 2 years on a girl, and learned that lesson the hard way. If it's not a good relationship, don't spend time on it!

Which reminds me of a friend of mine. The moment a girl yells at him, he breaks it off. A little harsh, but he is one of the happiest people I know. Granted, he does spend all of his free time at the bar.
