The suggestion given before is spot on. brake on a straight line. get the nose pointing towards the inside of the apex. let the car rotate on its on through the turn...counter steer when necessary.

The best way to get through corners quickly for me is to brake mostly in a straight line and allow the car to rotate off throttle, then balance it with the throttle through the corner. I use second for all the hairpins, third down the first steep decline and through the tunnels, and I hit fourth out of the tunnels and a couple times near the end. ALWAYS stay at the top of the rev range and pay attention to getting slowed down for the corners; if you overcook it on the way in, it costs a lot of time.

Thank you for the tips. I will surely have another go with this in mind to yield a faster run.
